Sonoita Vineyards is the oldest commercial vineyard and winery in Arizona, located in the heart of the Sonoita AVA wine region in Southern Arizona and was started in 1974, opened in 1983 and now includes over 30 acres of vines.

Located in Southern Arizona, Sonoita Vineyards is roughly an hour southeast of Tucson and 3 hours from Phoenix. Perched at an elevation of 5,000 feet among rolling grasslands, the vineyard is surrounded on three sides by soaring mountain ranges. This hillside planting protects the vines from harsh winds and frost. Aided by the unique growing conditions of the Sonoita Appellation (AVA – American Viticultural Area), the winery consistently creates award winning wines ranging from crisp and fruity to bold and complex.
Daily Wine Tastings

Visitors are invited to experience our award-winning wines firsthand during a wine tasting at our vineyard, where you can explore our full selection and discover why Sonoita Vineyards continues to be one of Arizona’s most respected wineries. Tasting Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily except CLOSED Tuesday’s and major holidays. We also offer private tours & tastings.

Harvest Host & Camping
Are you a Harvest Host member? Do you enjoy wine tasting? Do you enjoy camping? If you answered yes to these; we offer dry camping on our property. You can stay overnight or up to three nights with us. Don’t worry about driving home spend the night, RV’s, Vans, and Tent Campers all welcomed.
